The Philadelphia intellectual-property firm Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel L.L.P. has hired Jifang Tao as a scientific adviser to support the firm's patent work on behalf of clients in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. Tao was a postdoctoral fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a graduate student and research assistant at University of California, Los Angeles. Tao earned her bachelor of science degree in biological sciences with a minor in English from Tsinghua University, Beijing, with honors, and her Ph.D. in molecular and medical pharmacology from UCLA.

Deborah Heart and Lung Center, a specialty heart, lung, and vascular hospital in Burlington County, has hired Christine Carlson-Glazer as government and community-relations liaison. She had been vice president of policy and GME with the Hospital Alliance of New Jersey.

Bancroft, a Cherry Hill nonprofit provider of specialized services for individuals with autism, other intellectual or developmental disabilities, and those in need of neurological rehabilitation, has hired James A. Wellons as chief legal officer. He had been senior counsel at Temple University Health System.

Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel L.L.P., Philadelphia, has admitted Terri Gillespie and Michael V. Phillips to the firm's partnership. Gillespie focuses on employment law; Phillips has a multifaceted practice.

Dewberry, a privately held professional-services firm in Fairfax, Va., has hired Walter Bronson Jr., as a senior project manager in its Mount Laurel office. He had been director of engineering at ACT Engineers, Robbinsville.

He will be responsible for enhancing the firm's site/civil services across southern New Jersey and the Philadelphia area. Bronson Jr. had been project manager for several major projects in New Jersey, including Merrill Lynch's $400 million office complex in Hopewell, a $450 million office and research development complex expansion for Pfizer in Morris Plains, a 400-unit student housing redevelopment for the Princeton Theological Seminary in West Windsor, and a 450,000-square-foot shopping center in Howell. He is currently managing a 63-unit townhouse project and a 34,700-square-foot medical office, both in Evesham Township.

Wright Commissioning, a Philadelphia building commissioning firm, has hired John Robinson II and William de la Pena commissioning engineers. Robinson had been engineering division manager for Energy Efficient Technologies, and de la Pena an engineering technician for Vidaris Inc. in New York.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art has promoted Jennifer Thompson to head its department of European paintings, succeeding Joseph J. Rishel, who retired and is serving as curator emeritus. Jessica Todd Smith, chief curator of American art at the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, Calif., will become curator of American art and manager of the Center for American Art, effective July 1. Alexandra Kirtley, the Montgomery-Garvan associate curator of American decorative arts, has been promoted to full curator.

Alliant Insurance Services, a Newport Beach, Calif., specialty-insurance brokerage firm, has hired benefits consultant Craig Harper as first vice president within the employee benefits group in its Philadelphia office. He had been employee-benefits consultant with a Philadelphia-based employee-benefits agency.

Andrew Damico has been named president of iPipeline, a life-insurance and financial-services software-maker based in Exton. He had been president at WizeHive, a cloud-based SaaS provider.

TD Bank has promoted Kathleen A. Logan to relationship manager, vice president in commercial lending, based in Cherry Hill, from small business lender.

Jay Weinstein, partner-in-charge of EisnerAmper's New Jersey office, has been named managing partner of markets and segments.

Mercy Accountable Care Network has named Daniel L. Bair executive director. He had been vice president for the cardiovascular and radiology service lines.

Ascensus, a Dresher company that administers 529 college savings and retirement accounts for small and midsized companies, has named Thomas C. Albergo and Howard Insley as senior vice president of retirement operations in the company's retirement division from vice president of client operations.

Public Service Enterprise Group, a diversified energy company based in Newark, has named Peter Sena, president of PSEG Nuclear. Sena had been chief nuclear officer at First Energy Corp.

Edward A. Diasio has joined the Blue Bell law firm Wisler Pearlstine L.L.P. as associate in its education law practice group. He graduated from the evening division of Temple's Beasley School of Law in 2015 and worked for two Montgomery County state representatives while in school. Prior to earning his doctor of law degree, he was a CPA at KPMG L.L.P.

Christiana Care Health System, Wilmington, has made the following promotions: Edmondo Robinson to chief transformation officer from vice president and executive director, Christiana Care - Wilmington and associate chief medical officer at Christiana Care Health System, and Doug Azar to senior vice president of the Medical Group of Christiana Care and Network Operations from vice president of the Medical Group of Christiana Care and Network Operations at Christiana Care Health System.

Bettina Tweardy Riveros has been hired as chief health equity officer. She had been a health-policy adviser in the office of Gov. Jack Markell and chair of the Delaware Healthcare Commission.
