Two teachers will not face criminal charges after a school's CCTV captured an autistic seven-year-old boy being dragged down a corridor.

Corbin Kemle is seen struggling with two women, named in reports as Hannah Ruth and Heather Gregory, in surveillance footage taken from the school in Crestline, Ohio, before he is pulled along the hallway by his foot by a member of staff.

Corbin was reportedly removed from the school's playground after he climbed up a slide backwards and suffered a meltdown as he was being restrained.

The footage was reportedly forwarded to police by school administrators after it was reviewed.

And it was made public this week after prosecutors opted not to pursue criminal charges, the Bucyrus Telegraph reported.

Mum Bonnie Kemle McKean said she believed her son was a victim of "child abuse" as she criticised the decision not to prosecute.

She told InsideEdition.com : "No charges were filed against these women - It’s just not good enough.

"There’s a fine line between disciplining a child and abusing a child.

“This was child abuse - he could have fallen, or been hurt while being dragged down the hall.”

She added she didn't either woman to be allowed to return to a classroom.

Ms McKean posted the footage to her Facebook page on Wednesday where it has received more than 63,000 views.

Noreen Mullens, superintendent of the Crestline Exempted Village School District, said the women had been placed on "administrative leave" since the incident in May.

Ms Mullens told the Bucyrus Telegraph: "We do not condone the type of behavior that is seen in the video."

She added the state's education board was reviewing the case and “will move forward with disciplinary action,” the newspaper reported.
