Katie Price has unexpectedly pulled her son Harvey from Autism's Got Talent at the last minute.

The former glamour model, 44, is a proud mum to Harvey, 20, who lives with Septo-optic Dysplasia, as well as autism and Prader-Willi syndrome and his conditions mean that he requires constant care around the clock.

Mum-of-five Katie decided that Harvey would not be taking part in Autism's Got Talent after she returned from a recent vacation in Spain.

Although Harvey had been scheduled to perform this year with fellow adults and kids to show off their talent, Katie has now reportedly decided against the idea of her eldest son taking to the stage.

Lifting the lid on the situation, a source told said: "Katie was promoting the show for weeks, only to come back from holiday and pull Harvey from the show.

"There's been no explanation and it's left the show in chaos. People are very upset as Katie hasn't given a reason," the insider added to The Sun.

It comes after Katie was dubbed the 'best mum in the world' last week after she and Harvey made an appearance on The One Show.

Katie appeared on the show alongside Harvey to advocate for people with special needs to be allowed to gain full-time employment like every other members of society who do not live with extra challenges or needs.

Despite his challenges, Harvey has gained independence in recent years and has even lived away from home while studying in college.

However, his mum Katie still harbours fears that Harvey will never be able to fulfil his goal of nabbing his 'dream job' due to his condition.

During their joint appearance on The One Show, Katie and Harvey explored the barriers faced by young disabled people who are trying to find a job for the first time - and the mum-of-five has been showered with praise following her 'inspiring' motherhood skills when it comes to caring for Harvey and championing his dreams and ambitions.

"Like many other young people with a disability he’s finding it difficult making the transition into adulthood – especially when it comes to getting a job," Katie explained in the eye-opening segment.

"I want nothing more than for Harvey to find his dream job – but because he needs so much support, I worry it won’t be possible."

In the film, the mother-son duo headed to Wakeful to learn about the DFN Project Search - which is a scheme that offers work experience placements to disabled people at various private and public organisations.

Harvey got to meet several people with disabilities and learned about his career options when he finishes college.

"After meeting the families today I realise that Harvey can get a fulfilling job and hopefully he’ll be able to get the independence he desperately strives for," Katie said of the experience.

Following her thoughtful words on the show, The One Show fans flocked to Twitter to gush over Katie's unbreakable bond with Harvey.

"It's so sweet to see this side of Katie. She is honestly such a good mum and has done so much for Harvey down through the years," another echoed.

While someone else tweeted: "Love Katie and Harvey's relationship!! Good on them both for wanting more from life for him."

Katie brought up Harvey alone after his father, Dwight 'disowned' him when he was just a baby.
