Several Subway Socceroos were involved in midweek football and many will play one final time ahead of the March International Window where Australia takes on Indonesia and China PR in crucial AFC Asian Qualifiers™ – Road to 26 fixtures.
Here is a look at some of the action.
In the Danish Superligaen, Mohamed Toure (cap #636) notched a brace for Randers in their 4-2 win over Brondby on Tuesday morning. The 20-year-old now has six goals for this campaign and was recently called up to the Australia U23 squad for the Doha International U-23 Cup.
Paul Izzo was the goalkeeper for Randers and received a fifth straight call-up to the national team, where he'll be involved in March's FIFA World Cup™ qualifiers.
In the Bundesliga, Jackson Irvine (cap #568) is set to start for St. Pauli when they host Hoffenheim on Saturday at 6:30am (AEDT), before flying out to Sydney.
Maty Ryan (cap #555) will target carrying on from his last performance as Lens face Rennes on Sunday at 7:05am (AEDT) in Ligue 1. He too will join Irvine for Australia’s fixtures against Indonesia and China PR.

Cameron Burgess (cap #633) could be in the Ipswich Town team when they take on Nottingham Forest on Sunday at 2:00am (AEDT) and is another player named in Tony Popovic's squad.
Kusini Yengi (cap #638) was on the bench for Portsmouth’s 2-1 loss to Plymouth Argyle on Thursday in the EFL Championship. Yengi could feature on Sunday at 2:00am (AEDT) against Preston North End before making the journey to Australia.
Aiden O’Neill (cap #629) should feature in Standard Liege’s final Belgium First Division A game of the season when they take on Antwerp on Monday at 4:30am (AEDT). The midfielder's consistent displays has earned him another call-up to the national team.
Lewis Miller (cap #635), Martin Boyle (cap #599) and Nectarios Triantis are likely to start for Hibernian against Kilmarnock on Sunday at 2:00am (AEDT) in the Scottish Premiership and will then team up with the Subway Socceroos following their clash.
Triantis earned a maiden senior call-up following several standout performances in midfield with Hibs and has three goals and five assists for the campaign.
Milos Degenek (cap #585) played a full game for TK TSC Backa Topola in their 2-1 win over Spartak Subotica on Thursday in the Serbian Cup. Degenek could get some game time on Sunday at 11:00pm (AEDT) against Napredak in the Serbian SuperLiga before travelling to Sydney after being named in Popovic's squad.
In the Saudi Pro League, Craig Goodwin (cap #562) is set to start for Al-Wehda when they take on Al-Khaleej on Saturday at 6:00am (AEDT) and has also been included in the latest Subway Socceroos 26-player squad.
In Major League Soccer, Kye Rowles (cap #622) should be in the team for DC United’s home match against Montreal on Sunday at 10:30am (AEDT) before reporting for national team duty.
Fran Karacic (cap #607) should start for NK Lokomotiva when they travel to Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb on Sunday at 3:30am (AEDT) in Croatia’s HNL. His consistent playing time has earned a first national team recall since the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
Jason Geria’s (cap #586) Albirex Niigata take on Mitchell Duke's (cap #559) Machida Zelvia on Saturday at 4:00pm (AEDT). Geria was also named in Australia's most recent squad.
Jason Davidson (cap #545) has also earned a recall for the first time since June 2022 after a string of impressive outings with Panserraikos in the Super League Greece.
Goalkeeper Tom Glover has also been recalled to the national team for the first time since March 2024. His Middlesbrough outfit take on Luton Town in the EFL Championship on Sunday morning at 2:30am (AEDT).
Callum Elder (cap #614) picked up an assist in Derby County’s 2-0 win over Coventry City in the EFL Championship on Wednesday morning. The fullback could be in the team for Derby’s away trip to Plymouth Argyle on Sunday at 2:00am (AEDT).
Alex Robertson (cap #630) played 70 minutes of Cardiff City’s 2-1 loss to Luton Town on Wednesday. Robertson is likely to start on Sunday at 2:00am (AEDT) against Blackburn Rovers.
In EFL League One, Samuel Silvera (cap #634) was subbed on in the 68th minute of Blackpool’s 2-1 win over Cambridge United on Wednesday. Silvera could play on Sunday at 2:00am (AEDT) against Leyton Orient.
Gethin Jones (cap #639) played 84 minutes for Bolton Wanderers as they lost 3-2 to Bristol Rovers on Wednesday. Jones could start on Saturday at 11:30pm (AEDT) against Stockport County.
Also in League One, Keanu Baccus’ (cap #628) Mansfield Town are in action against Joe Gauci’s (cap #631) Barnsley on Sunday at 2:00am (AEDT).
Nestory Irankunda (cap #643) should start for Grasshopper Club Zurich when they host Sion on Monday at 12:15am (AEDT) in Swiss Super League.
Ajdin Hrustic (cap #589) should be in the matchday squad for Salernitana when they travel to Bari on Sunday at 5:30am (AEDT) in Serie B.
Patrick Yazbek (cap #641) could be in the Nashville team for their away trip to Philadelphia Union in the MLS on Monday at 5:25am (AEDT).
Also in the Scottish top flight, Josh Nisbet’s (#642) Ross County face Cameron Devlin’s (cap #625) Hearts at the same time.
Further, Ryan Strain’s (cap #624) Dundee United host Dundee on Monday at 2:00am (AEDT).
Ryan McGowan (cap #546) played a full game for Livingston in their 1-0 loss to St Johnstone on Tuesday morning in the Scottish Championship.
The defender is likely to start for Livingston in their away match with Airdrieonians on Sunday at 2:00am (AEDT).
Elsewhere in the competition, Dylan McGowan (cap #590) might get some minutes for Hamilton Academical when they host Greenock Morton at the same time.
John Iredale (cap #640) could make it three goals in three games for Seoul E-land as they travel to Harrison Delbridge’s (cap #623) Incheon United on Saturday at 4:00pm (AEDT) in K League 2.

In the AFC Champions League Two, Bailey Wright (cap #576) advanced to the semi-finals of the AFC Cup on Wednesday, playing a full game in Lion City Sailors’ 1-1 draw with Sanfreece. The Sailors won 3-0 in the first leg.
Wright is likely to start on Sunday at 11:30pm (AEDT) as his side host Balestier Khalsa in the Sinagpore Cup.
Max Balard is likely to start for NAC Breda as they travel to Almere on Saturday at 6:00am (AEDT).

Cameron Peupion played the first half of ADO Den Haag’s 3-0 loss to Jong AZ Alkmaar on Wednesday in Eerste Divisie. Peupion will target more minutes on Saturday at 6:00am (AEDT) against Vitesse.
Jed Drew might start for Harberg on Monday at 3:00am (AEDT) against Blau-Weib Linz in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Giuseppe Bovalina could be in the team when Vancouver Whitecaps face Dallas on Sunday at 11:30 am (AEDT) in Major League Soccer. The defender made the bench for Vancouver’s CONCACAF Champions Cup clash on Thursday.
