Three-vehicle crash in Randolph County injures woman from Tennessee

A three-vehicle crash late Sunday morning at the intersection of Route C and Route JJ in Huntsville left one woman with minor injuries. The crash occurred at approximately 11:55 a.m. on June 1, 2025, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Authorities reported that a 2023 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by a 93-year-old man from Salisbury, was traveling eastbound when it failed to yield to a northbound 2018 Toyota Tundra, driven by a 67-year-old man from Mukwonago, Wisconsin. The Toyota struck the side of the Chevrolet, which then ran off the right side of the road, hitting a sign and a westbound 2020 Ford Expedition that was stopped at a stop sign.

The Chevrolet was totaled and towed by Prather’s Towing. The Toyota sustained extensive damage and was towed by Palmatory Towing. The Ford received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

A 69-year-old woman from Franklin, Tennessee, who was a passenger in the Chevrolet Equinox, was wearing a seat belt and sustained minor injuries. She was transported by Randolph County Ambulance to University Medical Center for treatment.

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Department, Westran Fire Department, and Trooper Harrison assisted at the scene.
